Submission Requirements

Operational Requirements

  • Contractor must check in with the OR Unit Manager upon arrival.
  • Equipment must be delivered to the OR front desk at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled procedure.
  • Equipment not housed at KCVAMC must undergo pre-testing by Healthcare Technology Management.
  • Items requiring sterilization must be delivered to Sterile Processing Service (SPS) at least 2 business days prior, with a count sheet and Instructions for Use (IFU).
  • A qualified technician must arrive with all requested equipment and provide hard copies of current maintenance records.
  • Contractor is responsible for timely drop-off, setup, and removal of all equipment.
