Sources Sought / Request for Information (RFI)

This notice is for information and planning purposes only and is NOT a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 05 Network Contracting Office, is seeking information on potential qualified sources capable of providing a non-immersive virtual reality walking system. This system is intended to reduce fall risk in older adults and must be compatible with existing equipment at the Loch Raven VA Medical Center and/or the Baltimore Annex Human Motor Performance Laboratory.

• Non-immersive virtual reality walking system.

• Must reduce fall risk in older adults.

• Must work with existing equipment.

• Includes Safety Harness.

• Includes Real Time Patient Monitoring.

• Tracks patient progress, keeps training history, and maintains up-to-date data.

• Requires a Warranty.

• Interested parties should provide:

  • Business size status (SDVOSB, VOSB, Hubzone, WOSB, Large Business, etc.) and representations.
  • Company name, address, and point of contact.
  • Description of experience managing similar support requirements.
  • Confirmation of small business status under NAICS 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services).
  • FSS GSA/NAC contract number (if applicable).
  • General pricing for products/solutions (for market research only).
  • Capabilities statement regarding salient characteristics and "equal to" items.
  • Feedback or suggestions on salient characteristics/SOW.
  • DUNS/UEI number.
