Statement of Work (SOW)

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) requires gravel to reinforce roads around Wahluke Pond at Hanford Reach National Monument. These roads are used for prescribed fire units, fuel breaks, and wildland fire access.

• Supply a water tender (2,000 gallons or more) and operator to water roads during gravel delivery to maintain their integrity. The tender can be refilled at Wahluke Pond.

• Supply 1,000 tons of 1.25" minus gravel.

• The gravel must be clean and free of weed seeds.

• Delivery shall start at the time of award and be completed by September 30, 2025.

• Gravel will be delivered to two sites within Hanford Reach National Monument:

  • Site A: 500 tons (Latitude: 46°39'33.01"N, Longitude: 119°20'43.06"W)
  • Site B: 500 tons (Latitude: 46°39'57.40"N, Longitude: 119°21'21.00"W)

• Delivery must occur during normal duty hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.).

• The vendor must coordinate delivery at least one week prior to the delivery date.

• The vendor must notify and confirm the delivery time at least 24 hours prior to delivery.

• USFWS will inspect the gravel upon arrival to ensure correct grade.

• USFWS will provide the vendor with a current shipping address/location.
