Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To obtain recreational site cleaning services for Upper Green/Warren Bridge Recreation Sites on a firm fixed-price basis.

• Provide all labor, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation for cleaning recreation area sites.

• Maintain facilities including:

  • Upper Green River Sites: 11 Single Vault Toilets, 22 Fire Rings, 22 Picnic Tables
  • Warren Bridge Site: 3 Double Vault Toilets, 17 Fire Rings, 24 Picnic Tables

• Specific tasks include:

  • Policing Grounds: Picking up trash within a quarter-mile radius of recreation sites and roads, and disposing of it.
  • Restroom Services: Cleaning and disinfecting restroom fixtures, walls, floors, and surrounding areas; replenishing supplies; and emptying waste containers.
  • Tables, Benches, and Campground Areas: Cleaning and disinfecting picnic tables and benches.
  • Picnic Grills and Fire Rings: Cleaning ashes, unburned material, and garbage from grills and fire rings.

• Services must be performed in accordance with the specification.

• "Clean" is defined as free of dirt, dust, spots, streaks, stains, smudges, litter, debris, and other residue.

• "Disinfect" means destroying harmful microorganisms with an approved chemical agent.

• Performance is evaluated based on satisfactory completion of all work requirements.

• A Quality Assurance Plan is in place, with 100% of work requirements inspected.

• Upper Green Rec Site: Cleaning schedule from May 15 through October 15, twice weekly.

• Warren Bridge Rec Site: Cleaning schedule from May 15 through October 15, twice weekly.

• Period of Performance for both sites: May 15 through May 14 of the following year.

• Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, and services. Government will not provide materials, except for keys.

• All cleaning products must be "Green" environmentally friendly and conform to EPA standards.

• Contractor must have a shovel and fire extinguisher readily available.

• An "Option to Renew" for up to 4 additional years is included.

• Monthly payments are dependent on satisfactory completion of work requirements.
