Sources Sought Notice

This is a Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15. The purpose is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS code 339113 for Washer/Disinfectors. This is not a solicitation announcement, and responses are not offers. The government will use the responses to make acquisition decisions, and a solicitation announcement may be published later.

• The Kansas City VA Medical Center requires Washer/Disinfectors, Brand Name or Equal to the AMSCO 7053HP Wash Disinfector.

• The contractor will be responsible for delivery, installation, and start-up testing.

• Minimum of four washer disinfectors with specific operational and chamber dimensions.

• Specific requirements for conveyor return line, plumbing, electrical, and utility connections (Med Gas-Air, high pressure).

• Features include emergency stop, stand-alone return line, and proper packaging material removal.

• Robotic cycle configuration is required.

• Compliance with AAMI Standards ST79-2017 & 2020 is required.

• Mechanical cleaning equipment selection should be based on device reprocessing requirements, including ultrasonic cleaning equipment, irrigators, and various types of washer-disinfectors.

• AMSCO 7053HP Washer Disinfectors utility requirements include support for steam heated cycles, 460-480 voltage, and 3Ph, 60Hz electrical system.

• Robotic Assisted Surgery Instrument thermal disinfection cycle capabilities are required.

• An Auto docking transfer cart for Long Chamber Washer/Disinfector is required.

• Integration with the Censitrac Instrument Tracking System is required.

• Interested parties should provide company name, address, point of contact, and business size status (e.g., SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, Hubzone, Large Business).

• Bidders must indicate if they are considered small under NAICS 339113.

• Indicate if the company is a manufacturer, distributor, or equivalent.

• State the Country of Manufacture for the items.

• Indicate if the company has an FSS contract with GSA, VA NAC, NASA SEWP, or other federal contract.

• Submit capabilities showing clear, compelling, and convincing evidence of meeting the requirement described in the attached SOW.

• Responses must be submitted via email to Cory Rosene at cory.rosene@va.gov.

• Telephone responses will not be accepted.

• The notice does not specify a set-aside. Bidders are asked to indicate their business size status.

• The response date is April 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM Central Time.

• This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.

• Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted to form a binding contract.

• Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding.

• Responses to this sources sought are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement.
