This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products/services for the rental and associated maintenance of laundry machines for Grand Teton National Park. The National Park Service intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. This announcement serves as the only solicitation, and proposals are being requested.

• Rental and maintenance of laundry machines (washers and dryers).

• Includes machine rental, delivery, installation, travel, and all maintenance and repairs.

• Thirty-four (34) washers and thirty-four (34) dryers are required.

• Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA) applies.

• Contract Type: Firm-fixed-price.

• Period of Performance: Base Year (05/01/2026 - 04/30/2027) plus four option years.

• Option Year 1: 05/01/2027 - 04/30/2028

Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide, install, and maintain 34 washers and 34 dryers at various government-owned or leased buildings within Grand Teton National Park.

• Supply all labor, equipment, parts, tools, supervision, transportation, and materials for continuous and reliable washer and dryer services.

• Machines must be "non-vending" (do not require payment).

• The attached listing provides specific park locations and the number of machines required at each.

• Contractor must be able to move, add, or remove units to other park locations as needed, with additions/removals priced at the same rate.

• All new washers and dryers must be Energy Star compliant and washers must be low-flow.

• Existing washers do not need replacement unless they are purchased as new units, in which case they must be Energy Star compliant.

• Machines must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and electrical standards.

• Tubs and drums must be metal with porcelain coating or stainless; machine tops must be porcelain.

• Washers: heavy-duty type, at least 14 pounds and 3 cubic feet capacity, minimum 1/2 hp motors, three selectable wash levels, and three water temperature choices.

• Dryers: electric, comparable sized heavy-duty types, at least 3 timed cycles (including normal, no heat, and permanent press).

• Contractor shall service mechanisms as per manufacturer specifications.

• All repair requests must be resolved within 48 hours.

• Machines with three or more service requests must be replaced with a similar or new machine.

• Contractor shall not provide replacements older or less efficient than specified.

• Current machines will be removed by the outgoing contractor; new machines will be installed by the awarded contractor.

• Service requests received Sunday-Thursday must be corrected within 48 hours.

• Service requests received Friday-Saturday must be corrected by Tuesday evening.

• When service repairs are complete, other units at the same location should be monitored for possible maintenance.

• Monthly invoices must provide a history of service corrections made during the month.

• The contract covers various locations within Grand Teton National Park.

• Seasonal use locations will require draining and winterizing in the fall and preparation for service in the spring.

• Contractor must provide a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week contact phone with a message machine capable of accepting service problems.

• Units indicated as seasonal use will need to be drained and winterized in the fall and prepared for service in the spring.
