The contractor will provide the supply, installation, and maintenance of 34 washers and 34 dryers at various government-owned or leased buildings within Grand Teton National Park. Key requirements include:

  • Machines must be "non-vending" (no coin/currency required).
  • Ability to move, add, or remove units to different park locations with adjusted pricing.
  • Installation of heavy-duty washers (at least 14 lbs, 3 cubic feet capacity, 1/2 hp motors, three selectable wash levels/water temperatures) and comparable electric, heavy-duty dryers (at least 3 timed cycles).

  • Metal tubs/drums (porcelain coated or stainless) and porcelain machine tops.
  • Seasonal locations require draining and winterization in the fall, and preparation for service in the spring.

Performance Standards

  • All repair requests must be resolved within 48 hours; specifically, requests received Sunday-Thursday by 48 hours, and Friday-Saturday by Tuesday evening.
  • Machines with three or more service requests must be replaced.
  • A 24-hour, 7-day-a-week contact phone number with a message machine for service problems is required.
  • Upon completion of service repairs, other units at the same location should be monitored.
  • Monthly invoices must include a history of service corrections.
