Scope of Work
The contractor will provide the supply, installation, and maintenance of 34 washers and 34 dryers at various government-owned or leased buildings within Grand Teton National Park. Key requirements include:
- Providing all labor, equipment, parts, tools, supervision, transportation, and materials for continuous and reliable service.
- Machines must be "non-vending" (no coin/currency required).
- Ability to move, add, or remove units to different park locations with adjusted pricing.
- Installation of heavy-duty washers (at least 14 lbs, 3 cubic feet capacity, 1/2 hp motors, three selectable wash levels/water temperatures) and comparable electric, heavy-duty dryers (at least 3 timed cycles).
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and electrical standards.
- Metal tubs/drums (porcelain coated or stainless) and porcelain machine tops.
- Seasonal locations require draining and winterization in the fall, and preparation for service in the spring.
- The incoming contractor will install new machines after the outgoing contractor removes current ones.
Performance Standards
- All repair requests must be resolved within 48 hours; specifically, requests received Sunday-Thursday by 48 hours, and Friday-Saturday by Tuesday evening.
- Machines with three or more service requests must be replaced.
- A 24-hour, 7-day-a-week contact phone number with a message machine for service problems is required.
- Upon completion of service repairs, other units at the same location should be monitored.
- Monthly invoices must include a history of service corrections.
