Services must be performed within 24 hours of a service request during normal base operating hours (0730-1630 Monday-Friday). The contractor must provide an operator and a vehicle equipped with a vacuum or suction pump and hoses (requiring at least 20 feet of hose). All operations must comply with DAFI 23-201 Chapter 8.2 Fuels Environmental and Safety Responsibilities. The contractor is responsible for reporting and cleaning up any spills and will reimburse the government for costs if government resources are used for contractor-caused spills. Access to the installation requires compliance with DAFFARS 5352.242-9000 and an escort by a Fuel Management Flight member.
