Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide recurring, certified water and wastewater sample analysis services for Fort Detrick's Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants to ensure compliance with operating permits issued by the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

• Provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, and supervision for non-personal services.
• Perform scheduled and discretionary sample pickup and transport from Fort Detrick facilities.
• Conduct laboratory analysis in accordance with Technical Exhibit 3 and approved Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Deliver timely and accurate analytical results reports to the Government.
• Maintain all required laboratory certifications and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Supply necessary sample containers and shipping materials.

One (1) Base Year of 12 months, plus four (4) option years. An optional 6-month extension is also included.

• Supplies: Provide all required sample containers, preservatives, coolers, and shipping materials, maintaining a two-week supply at both plants.

• Sample Pickup: Retrieve scheduled samples twice weekly (typically Tuesdays and Fridays) and discretionary samples within 24 hours of COR request. Provide receipts for all pickups.
