Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide weekly trash and waste removal services for the United States Coast Guard Station Crisfield located at 810 Norris Harbor Dr, Crisfield, MD 21817.

• Provide one (1) 8 cubic yard receptacle for weekly waste removal.

• Service is scheduled for each Friday.

• If a regular service day falls on a holiday, service will occur the day prior.

• Contractor shall replace the trash receptacle at the start of the contract year and as needed.

• Contractor must contact the Unit POC to schedule alternate service dates if unable to comply with the regular schedule.

• One-year base period: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027

• Four one-year option periods available.

• Commencement of work is required no later than five (5) days after notice to proceed.

• Entire work to be completed and ready for use within 14 calendar days after contract award.

• Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site between 6/09/2026 – 7/9/2026. Arrangements must be made with the POC.

• All work shall be performed using best standard practices by experienced personnel.

• Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary appointments, licenses, and permits.

• Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

• All trash and debris must be removed from the site weekly, leaving the job site clean.

• Safety requirements include conforming to state, local, and Coast Guard regulations. Specific restrictions apply to smoking, visitors, and animals (service animals with documentation are an exception).

• Contractor personnel and vehicles must be identified. A detailed list of employees (name, DOB, address, last 4 of SSN) must be provided to the QAE Representative five (5) days prior to commencing work. Vehicles must display the contractor's name and have valid state registration and inspection.

• Provide one (1) 4 cubic yard receptacle for Station Stillpond.

• Perform waste removal services once weekly, scheduled for each Friday.

• If a regular service day falls on a holiday, service will occur the day prior to or the day after the regular service day.

• Replace the trash receptacle at the start of the contract year and as needed.

• Contractor must contact the Unit Point of Contact (POC) to arrange alternate service dates if compliance with the scheduled date is not possible.

• Base Year: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027

• Option Year 1: July 1, 2027 – June 30, 2028

• Option Year 2: July 1, 2028 – June 30, 2029

• Option Year 3: July 1, 2029 – June 30, 2030

• Option Year 4: July 1, 2030 – June 30, 2031

• Commencement of work is required no later than five (5) days after notice to proceed.

• Compliance: Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as Coast Guard Station regulations.

• Clean Up: All trash and debris must be removed weekly, leaving the site clean and neat.

• Safety: Conform to all state, local, and Coast Guard safety requirements. Familiarize with and obey base regulations (fire, traffic, security). Specific restrictions apply to smoking, visitors, dependents, minors, and pets (service animals with documentation are an exception).

• Personnel and Vehicle Identification: Provide a detailed list of employees (full name, DOB, address, last four of SSN) five (5) days prior to work commencement.
