Submission Requirements

Quality & Compliance
Vendors and manufacturers must be qualified to MIL SPECS or ISO 9000 System Series, possessing an effective quality assurance control system compliant with ISO-9000 standards. The material is designated "SPECIAL EMPHASIS" (Level I), requiring strict control, traceability, and certification for Non-Nuclear Level I/Subsafe Materials. Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) specify required data items such as Inspection and Test Plans, QMS documentation, Certification Data Reports, and Certificates of Compliance, to be submitted via WAWF. Items deemed Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirements, but this must be identified to the contracting officer.
