Sources Sought Notice

This notice is a market research tool to determine compliance with the Buy Indian Act and to assess the availability of Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) or Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) for an upcoming procurement. It is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a solicitation.

The government is seeking information regarding contractors capable of providing annual ventilation assessment services, including Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) system Testing and Balancing (TAB).

Priority will be given to ISBEE set-asides. The document defines IEE and ISBEE and outlines requirements for businesses to self-certify their eligibility.

Firms interested in this requirement must respond in writing with:

• Company name and contact information

• FSS/SEWP Contract number (if applicable)

• DUNS number or SAM Unique Entity Identifier

• Tax ID number

• Business category qualification (IEE or ISBEE)

• A capability statement demonstrating qualifications for the described requirement

• Documentation from the manufacturer if the firm is an authorized distributor (referencing Attachment 2: Gray Market Prevention Language).

• The procurement is for new OEM medical supplies, medical equipment, and/or maintenance services. Remanufactured or gray market items will not be acceptable.

• Vendors must be an OEM, authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller, verified by an authorization letter.

• Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
