Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

Procurement of six (6) 6000 LB workboat anchors for the USACE Vicksburg District's Mat Sinking Unit.

• Six (6) Steel Workboat-style Anchors.

• Anchors must be delivered as pre-assembled, new, and unused units.

• Anchors must be completely painted according to manufacturer's specifications.

• Anchors must be free of rust, pitting, nicks, cuts, or any other damage.

• Standard Dimensions (similar to): Height - 118", Width - 112", Fluke Height – 74”, Fluke Width - 47-1/2", Width between Fluke Tips – 18-5/8", 3-3/4" Shackle.

• Flukes must be capable of turning 30 degrees.

• Anchors must be proof tested at 121300 (or similar for that size).

• Anchors must meet the standards of a recognized classification society (e.g., ABS, DNV, Lloyd's).

• Documentation of certification must be provided with the bid.

• Contractor must provide photos of anchors upon request before delivery for verification.

• Anchors must be delivered within 60 days after the notice to proceed.

• Freight costs must be included with pricing per anchor.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the supply and delivery of workboat anchors to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, in support of USACE-MVK. The procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside.

• Procurement of six (6) 6000 LB workboat anchors.

• Contractor shall provide photos of the anchors upon request before delivery to ensure they meet specifications.

• All anchors shall be delivered within 60 days after the Vicksburg District contracting office gives the notice to proceed.

• Freight shall be included with pricing per anchor.

• Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price.

• NAICS Code: 332999 – All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product.

• Size Standard: 750 employees.

• Bidding Schedule must be returned with the quote.

• Offers are encouraged to review all provisions and clauses incorporated into the solicitation.

• SPECIAL ATTENTION should be focused on FAR 52.212-2 EVALUATION – COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS, as this clause outlines the evaluation factors and basis for award.

• The government intends to make one award.

• The government intends to award without discussions, but reserves the right to hold discussions if advantageous.

• Offers are encouraged to provide their best proposed pricing in their initial offer.

• Offers for less than the required delivery will not be accepted.

• All offers must be valid for 60 days.
