1. This solicitation, is for the procurement of one New Horizontal Infeed Spindle Face Grinder for the Watervliet Arsenal (WVA) in Watervliet, NY.
2. This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract and will be evaluated on a Lowest Price and Technically Acceptable basis.
3. FOB Point is Destination IAW 52.247-34.
4. Specification #05-18-3415 defines all requirements for this action and can be found herein.
5. Offerors shall reference item 6 (Instructions to Offerors) in Specification #05-18-3415 for additional guidance relative to the structure of its technical proposal.
6. Deliveries will be based on calendar Days after Receipt of Order (DARO). Actual delivery time for one New Horizontal Infeed Spindle Face Grinder is anticipated at 294 DARO (42 weeks)
7. The evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, "Evaluation - Commercial Items" , a two-step approach. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is the lowest price and technically acceptable. Technical acceptance will be evaluated based on the offeror's responses to Section C - WVA Equip Eng Spec #05-18-3415 New Face Grinder, which will be included with the solicitation.
