Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for repairing and replacing four overhead doors at Fire Station Building 989, located at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

• Furnish all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, testing services, quality control, and incidentals for the repair by replacement of four overhead doors.

• Perform a site investigation to verify existing conditions and identify necessary logistical, architectural, and structural work elements.

• Provide assemblies, framework, fixtures, or apparatus not readily identified on project drawings or specifications.

• Demolish two existing overhead rollup doors on the East side and two on the West side of B989.

• Provide and install four new Cornell 1024 High Performance Rapid Rolling Overhead Doors or approved equal.

• New doors must include vision windows and meet OSHA and UL 325 safety requirements.

• Patch and repair penetrations from demolition and repaint areas around new doors.

• Disconnect and reconnect electrical conductors for the new doors.

• Quality control shall be executed in accordance with specification section 01 45 00.00 10.

• Contractor shall establish an inspection system and a method for deficiency prevention.

• Maintain records of all required inspections and corrective actions.

• Health and Safety Program must comply with EM 385-1-1.

• Work to be performed at Fire Station, BLDG 989, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

• Construction shall take place during normal duty hours (0700 – 1600 Monday-Friday), unless utility outages are required.

• Contractor personnel require AFMC Form 387 (contractor badges) for access.

• Key personnel required: Project Manager (PM), Quality Control Manager (QCM), Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), and Project Superintendent, each with specific experience requirements.

• Subcontractors must be licensed in their specialty.

• Work is located in an airfield operations area and a controlled/restricted area, requiring coordination and specific access procedures (e.g., Airfield Construction Waiver, Secure Area Badges).

• Foreign Object Debris (FOD) awareness and prevention training is mandatory for all personnel.

• Adherence to specific environmental, bioenvironmental, and safety regulations is required.

• Phasing: North 2 doors, then South 2 doors.

• Submittals and documentation must follow specified formats and naming conventions.

• A baseline construction schedule is required within 10 days of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
