Scope of Work
This acquisition covers the procurement, delivery, installation, and training for a single X-ray baggage scanner. The machine will be primarily used to screen all carry-on and checked luggage for airlift operations, reducing the need for manual searches and providing a second level of screening for flight safety.
Key Requirements
- Technical Specifications: Minimum tunnel size of 30.6" W x 22.8" H, conveyor capacity of 364 lbs (minimum 250 lbs).
- Imaging & Software: Material Discrimination Capability (TSA ACSTL compliant), dual or multi-view (single view not accepted), wire resolution up to 40 AWG, dual monitors, at least 256 GB video/image storage, 3/6 color, black & white, enhanced, organic, and inorganic imaging. Must include threat image protection and screener assist software.
- Environmental & Electrical: Operating temperature 0°C to 40°C, storage temperature -20°C to 60°C. Includes an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and supports 110 VAC/220 VAC power.
- Certifications: Must be TSA Certified (ACSTL), compliant with USFDA 21-CFR 1020.40, produce radiation leakage less than 0.1 mR/hr, and be ISO 9001 and 14001 certified.
- Compatibility: Must connect to Astrophysics entry/exit roller tables.
- Maintenance & Warranty: Vendor must provide a maintenance support entity. A minimum 1-year warranty (labor, parts, shipping, travel) is required, with extended warranty plans up to 5 years available.
- Delivery & Installation: Delivery to Tinker AFB within 90 calendar days of order receipt. Includes assembly, installation, securement of roller tables, and standard training for up to 10 personnel.
