Scope of Work
The VA requires secure, climate-controlled off-site and/or on-site storage facilities to support medical, administrative, logistics, and emergency preparedness operations. This includes managing overflow inventory, supplies, equipment staging, and various kits. The requirement is for six (6) storage units:
- Three (3) units within 20 miles of Bossier City, LA (two 10x25, one 10x20).
- One (1) 10x25 unit within 20 miles of CBOC Monroe, LA.
- One (1) 10x25 unit within 20 miles of CBOC Longview, TX.
- One (1) 10x25 unit within 20 miles of CBOC Texarkana, TX.
Facilities must be clean, dry, structurally sound, maintain temperatures between 60°F–80°F, and humidity below 60%. Other requirements include ADA-compliant access, adequate lighting, covered loading/unloading areas, and clearly marked Government-dedicated space. Security mandates 24/7 monitored systems, surveillance cameras, controlled access, intrusion alarms, and immediate breach notification. Fire protection must include operational suppression and smoke detection, complying with NFPA standards. Government access is required during normal business hours and for emergency after-hours.
