In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any cost.
The purpose of this solicitation is to notify prospective contractors on the performance of construction services for project XTLF 15-1018 Repair AA and E Storage at F527. This service will renovate building 527 to comply with UFC 04-026-01 and MIL-HNDBK 1013/1A. The building requires minor renovations to eliminate deviation request VANCE AFB 97-01. These renovations include the reinforcement of the existing AA and E storage room by adding steel and plywood layers to surrounding interior walls and ceiling. In addition, existing fixtures will be removed and reinstalled on the new wall and ceiling faces, the entry door will be replaced with a compliant door, and window fasteners will be replaced with compliant tamper-resistant fasteners. Circuits on the interior electrical panel dedicated to other areas of the facility will be relocated to a new panel outside the room, providing better access to emergency personnel. AA and E Risk Categories II through IV must be stored in a structure with a minimum forced entry resistance of 10 minutes against threat severity level III.
