Quick Summary
The Department of the Interior (DOI), specifically the US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS, GAOA), has issued a Sources Sought Notice for a potential Multiple-Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Construction Services. This market research aims to identify qualified firms for a broad range of construction, repair, renovation, and modernization projects across the continental US and Hawaii. Responses are due March 19, 2026, at 5:00 pm PST.
Purpose
This notice is for market research only, seeking to identify qualified and interested sources for a potential DOI-wide Construction Services Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) MATOC. The anticipated MATOC will cover new construction, repair, renovation, alteration, and maintenance across diverse facility types and site conditions. Work will be performed under individual task orders within seven defined geographic zones. Key work categories include:
- Civil & Landscape: Heavy civil work, water-related structures, exterior improvements (e.g., bridges, roads, drainage, marine construction, hazardous material remediation).
- Mechanical & Electrical: Building systems and utilities (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical wiring, fire suppression, security systems).
- Building: Construction, repair, and renovation of buildings (e.g., new construction, roofing, interior finishes, historic preservation). Contractors must maintain a staffed business office physically located within each zone for which they seek an award.
