PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment and supervision necessary to accomplish the work for Project# 626-18-201 "Replace Air Handling Unit 18 at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, VA Medical Center, 1310 24th Ave., S., Nashville, TN 37212 in accordance with the specifications and drawings titled Replace Air Handling Unit 18 .
Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, furnish labor and materials and perform work for replacing Air Handling Unit 18 primarily serving Cath Lab as required by drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, alterations, necessary removal of existing structures, construction, and certain other items.
Electrical work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required electrical construction work on this project including new, upgrade and replacement of low voltage system; new/relocated electrical and data receptacles.
Mechanical work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required work including commissioning, relocation of supply and return; and controls.
Period of performance is 210 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

This requirement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8127(d). To be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code. SDVOSB contractors must be verified and viewable in VetBiz www.vip.vetbiz.gov prior to submission of proposal and prior to award of contract. Status as a qualified SDVOSB concern is under the authority of 38 CFR Part 74 in accordance with the VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) Part 819. Eligibility determination is performed by the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE). Eligible SDVOSB concerns must also be registered at the following websites:

The solicitation is anticipated to be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website www.fbo.gov on or about December 5, 2018.
Important Notice: Prior to submitting a proposal under this SDVOSB set- aside solicitation, offerors must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
