• Pipe Specifications: Clarifications were provided regarding pipe materials and specifications for buried PD piping (CLDI per 33 05 01.02), interior PD piping (PVC per 40 27 00.10), and RS gravity sewer (CL53 with ceramic epoxy lining per 33 05 01.12.01).
• Valve Specifications: For sewage lines, 2" V757 air release valves should be used instead of the proposed 1" V750.
• DIP and HDPE Transitions: Buried DIP should extend beyond the building footprint to include the flexible joint detail (3305-609) before transitioning to HDPE, using detail 3305-758 for the transition.
• Flexible Joints: Detail 3305-609 flexible joints are required where pipes exit structures or encasements.
• Pipe Sizing: BRI and ML lines connecting to fittings should all be 6", with specific tees and plugs noted.
