Scope of Work

This design-bid-build project involves comprehensive infrastructure upgrades to support Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM). The scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Electrical upgrades: Panels, normal/emergency power, bonding, UPS systems.
  • HVAC upgrades and Building Management System (BMS) interfaces.
  • Renovation and expansion of existing spaces, including demolition and new construction.
  • Construction of a new Data Center and renovation of the Building 14 Regional Data Center.
  • Communication infrastructure upgrades: Data outlets, Cat 6A cabling, fiber backbone (campus-wide).
  • Physical security upgrades: Contractor provides and installs cameras and access control equipment.
  • Site civil work and hazardous material abatement (asbestos, lead-based paint). Work will be performed across Buildings 1, 2, 4, 14, 15, and the site.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price.
  • Estimated Value: $20,000,000 - $50,000,000.
  • Period of Performance: 730 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
  • Bonds: A bid bond (20% of bid or $3,000,000, whichever is less) is required. Performance and Payment Bonds (SF 25 and SF 25A) will be required upon award.
  • Project Labor Agreement (PLA): Required after contract award.

Key Requirements & Compliance
