This notice is for Request for Quote Number 36C24226Q0066 Project No. SL-25-05-BK REPLACEMENT OF E.D AUTOMATIC DOORS at VA New York Harbor Healthcare System Brooklyn located at 800 Poly Place Brooklyn, NY 11209.
This project will be 100% Set-Aside to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business
(SDVOSB). Competition for this procurement is restricted to verified SBA Cert
SERVICE- DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) Contractors.
The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in https://veterans.certify.sba.gov.
The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 All Other Specialty Contractors, with
a Size Standard of $45 million IAW VAAR 852.219-10 the VetCert (formerly VIP listed) SDVOSB. Prospective Contractor is required to perform a minimum of 15% of the
construction work.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, test equipment, shop drawings, technical manuals, transportation, calculations, and safety, necessary for Replacement of E.D Automatic Doors in accordance with VA specifications at http://www.cfm.va.gov/til/specs.asp. Work shall meet all VA design guidelines and requirements.
PROJECT COMPLETION: Contractor to start immediately after receiving the Notice to
Proceed and complete required work in 10 calendar days.
Prospective contractors must be registered and certified online with SBA VetCert
https://veterans.certify.sba.gov and must be registered at https://www.sam.gov in
accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 to be eligible for award. A site visit will be held for this project, and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
Details of the site visit will be included in the RFQ document. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on/about October 28th, 2025. All interested parties (subs & primes) should register for a user account which lets you save searches, follow changes to opportunities, and join interested vendor lists and verified as a SDVOSB in Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov) at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
