This solicitation is for the modernization and replacement of all 2-pipe fan coil units in Building 18 at the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System Castle Point Campus. The project aims to design and implement a new system with enhanced temperature control, Legionella prevention, and overall reliability. • Modernize and replace all 4 pipe fan coil units in Building 18.

• New system and components must adhere to the latest VA Design Guide for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.

• Temperature environmental control must meet or exceed ASHRAE 90.1 standards.

• Comply fully with Legionella prevention requirements.

• Utilize provided working drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate with other trades and implement design modifications as necessary.

• All activities, materials, and installations must conform to VA standards, ASHRAE 90.1, and Legionella prevention protocols.

• The project includes the addition of a chiller room with new devices (chillers, cooling towers, MCC unit, pipe system, and pumps).

• ICRA containment barrier requirements must be considered.

• Phasing requirements must be accounted for to maintain hospital operations.

• Utilize VISN 2 Autodesk Build Construction management platform (Autodesk Construction Cloud).

• Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price.

• Period of Performance: 400 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).

• Magnitude of Construction: Between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
