Quick Summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), through its PCAC office, is soliciting bids for EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades at the Tucson, AZ Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP). Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov and acknowledge all amendments.

Key Considerations for Bidders

  • Subcontracting Limitations: No more than 85% of the amount paid by the government can go to non-SDVOSB/VOSB firms for general construction. A certificate of compliance is required.
  • Environmental: Asbestos-containing mirror mastic is present; roof samples were non-detect for asbestos. Lead-based paint was not detected. Bidders must account for these conditions.
  • Personnel: The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) must be a separate individual from the Superintendent and/or Quality Control Manager.
  • Compliance: Adherence to FAR Clause 52.222-90 regarding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) activities is mandatory.
  • Site Logistics: Contractor space is designated on the north side of the CMOP building; off-site parking is required.
