This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for seasonal household furniture for Yellowstone National Park (YELL). The National Park Service (NPS) intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order. The acquisition is for full and open competition and is not a set-aside.

• Supply seasonal household furniture in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and Furniture Specifications.

• The entire order must provide variety in color and finishes, compatible across different housing units.

• Delivery must be made within 70 days of award.

• The scope includes providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the furniture supply.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order.

• Period of Performance: 06/01/2026 to 08/10/2026.

• Anticipated Award Date: 5/28/2026.

• Pricing must be all-inclusive and valid for a minimum of 180 days.

• Quotations are due by 12:00 PM (MT) on 05/11/2026.

• Questions are due by 12:00 PM (MT) on 05/04/2026 via email to sally_leitch@ios.doi.gov.

• Submissions must be in PDF format via email.

• Evaluation will be based on comparative evaluation, considering overall best value to the Government, which includes Price, Technical Capability, and Past Experience.

• Technical Capability requires a narrative addressing how requirements will be met, including color design, cut sheets, delivery plan, and warranty information (Lifetime, 5-year, 1-year).

• Past Experience requires two direct past experiences within the last 3 years, including description, point of contact, contract number, and awarded dollar amount.

• This acquisition is not set-aside and is considered full and open competition.

• Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and have an active Unique Entity Identifier (UEI).

• Invoices must be submitted electronically through the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Invoice Processing Platform System (IPP).

• Use of All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) is prohibited on National Park Service lands.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To supply new, robust, and appealing furniture for seasonal employee housing units in Yellowstone National Park, improving the living environment for NPS staff.

• Provide furnishings for living, dining room, and bedroom spaces in one-bedroom and two-bedroom housing units.

• Furniture must be durable, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing to a variety of tastes.

• Offer variety in color and finishes between units while maintaining compatibility for potential exchanges.

• All furniture must be made in the USA and all wood products must be FSC certified.

• Exposed wood must be solid wood core, and all wood finishes require a lacquer/polyurethane finish.

• Contractor is encouraged to use sustainable/recovered materials and minimize toxic chemicals.

• Furniture must be contemporary or modern in style, with clean lines and minimal ornamentation.

• Living/Dining/Bedroom Furniture: Includes sofas, loveseats, armchairs, nightstands (single/double), dressers (tall/wide), dining tables (with 4 or 2 chairs), chairside/end tables, and coffee tables.

• Mattresses: Queen, Full, and Twin sizes required, with specific height, antimicrobial, gel foam, pressure relief, and motion transfer reduction properties. Must have removable, washable covers.

• Headboards: Farmhouse/Industrial panel style, mocha wood stain.

• Bedframes: Both wooden (platform, no box spring needed) and metal (foldable, no box spring needed) options required, with high weight capacity and no squeaking.

• Lamps: Floor and table lamps in Farmhouse/Industrial style, with adjustable height, LED bulbs, and dimmable switches.

• Upholstered Furniture Requirements: Specific construction details for frames (solid hardwood, mortise and tenon joints), springs (8-gauge sinuous), cushions (high-density foam, Green Guard GOLD certified adhesives), and fabrics (natural materials, shrink-resistant, durable, stain-resistant, no VOC/formaldehyde).

• Case Goods (Nightstands, Dressers, Tables): Solid wood construction, specific drawer details (English dovetails, full extension glides), bronze drawer pulls, and cedar bottom panels in drawers.

• Proposal Requirements: Include color design for furnishing, cut sheets for individual items (color, style, fabric, materials).

• All items will be inspected by the government upon arrival; final acceptance by the COR.

• Government reserves the right to suggest changes within scope (color, finishes).

• Government may reject damaged or non-specified furnishings.

• Furniture must be robust and sturdy with resilient finishes.

• Period of Performance: All furnishings to be delivered no later than 70 days after award.

• Place of Performance/Delivery: 22 Stable Street, Yellowstone National Park 82190.

• Delivery Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MST, Monday-Thursday, excluding government holidays.

• Warranty: Lifetime limited warranty for internal structures, springs, wood frames, metal bases, reclining mechanisms, seat cushion foam, feathers. Five-year for electrical/mechanical components. One-year for finished wood, plastic, metal, filling materials, upholstery.

• Delivery Terms: FOB Destination. Contractor responsible for items in transit and replacement of damaged items.

• Packaging: Non-plastic packaging encouraged where reasonable.

This document is a required Price Schedule (Excel spreadsheet) that potential bidders must complete and submit as part of their proposal.
