Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the removal and installation of the Yocum Sailing Center Fuel Dispensing System at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA). The project involves removing existing underground storage tanks (USTs), fuel dispensers, and associated piping and electrical systems, and then installing new USTs, dual product fuel dispensers, and associated piping and electrical systems. An additional CLIN is included for a new dual product fuel dispenser to serve land-based equipment.

• Removal and abandonment of two existing double-walled fiberglass USTs (one 2,500-gallon gasoline, one 6,000-gallon diesel) and associated piping and electrical systems.

• Installation of new double-walled fiberglass USTs (same sizes) and new dual product fuel dispensers.

• Installation of new piping and electrical systems.

• Repair of pier structure related to dispenser removal.

• Compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, including environmental preservation and historic property standards.

• Soil testing and remediation if necessary.

• Disposal of all obsolete equipment and hazardous waste.
