• Roadway Repair: Saw cutting damaged asphalt, removal and legal disposal, base material inspection and preparation (including Aggregate Base Course placement), surface cleaning, tack coat application, placement and compaction of 3 inches of hot-mix asphalt (in two lifts), installation of shoulder material, and temporary/permanent white edge line striping.
• Traffic Control: Compliance with MUTCD, including cones, delineators, barriers, lights, and flaggers.
• Mobilization/Demobilization: Assembling resources, temporary fencing, temporary utilities (excluding water from BOR), and site cleanup.
• Visual Specifications: Detailed engineering drawings (Attachment 2) and visual aids (Attachment 3) are provided to understand the physical scope, dimensions, and existing conditions.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price purchase order.
• Estimated Value: Less than $25,000.00.
• Period of Performance: 46 calendar days from contract award date. Work must commence within 5 calendar days and be completed within 14 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
• Place of Performance: Yuma Valley Levee Road, approximately half a mile west of the intersection of Figueroa Road and Yuma Valley Levee Road, Yuma, Arizona.

• Quote Submission Deadline: March 10, 2026, by 12:00 PM PS, electronically via email to kberry@usbr.gov.
• Evaluation Criteria: Quotes will be evaluated based on Construction Plan, Past Performance, and Price. A comparative evaluation will be performed.
• Site Inspection: Vendors are urged to inspect the site; failure to do so does not constitute grounds for a claim after award.

• Safety: A comprehensive Safety Program and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) are required, along with an Onsite Safety Representative. Compliance with OSHA, RSHS, and local safety programs is mandatory.
