Scope of Work

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the repair of four wells and associated infrastructure. This includes:

  • Well #9: Replacing the pump panel, discharge head, installing a new bowl assembly, motor, and pump to meet flow requirements (2000 gpm).
  • Well #10: Replacing the pump panel, discharge head, drive shaft, and bowl assembly (1800 gpm). An elastomer compensator is required, and an open impeller is preferred. A start panel is requested, not a VFD.
  • Well #60: Replacing the motor heater, bowl assembly, motor, discharge head, and column pipe (1600 gpm).
  • Well #7 Pipeline: Installing a pipeline from the well to the can pump. The pipeline will be located south of the immediate ditch, following a road to the dump area, and must be to the west of the ditch. HDPE DR21 pipe is acceptable.

All materials and workmanship require a one-year warranty.

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price
  • Estimated Value: Between $250,000 and $500,000. A bid guarantee of 20% of the bid price or $1,000,000 (whichever is less) is required.
  • Period of Performance: April 30, 2026, to July 29, 2026. Work must commence within 10 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and be completed within 90 days of NTP.
  • Place of Performance: Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge, Monte Vista, CO.
