Scope of Work
The project requires a complete, turnkey replacement of eighteen (18) existing Mitsubishi mini-split HVAC systems with new, comparable, and energy-efficient units within designated facilities at CHCH. This includes:
- Procurement of new Mitsubishi outdoor and high-wall indoor units (or approved equivalents).
- Safe decommissioning, refrigerant evacuation, and removal of existing units, including associated line sets, wiring, and condensate lines.
- Disposal of all removed equipment and debris off-site.
- Installation of new units, insulated and UV-resistant refrigerant line sets, low-voltage control wiring, new digital remote thermostats, and properly sloped condensate drain lines.
- Comprehensive system start-up, commissioning, and full operational testing in heating and cooling modes.
- Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes, Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Catoosa County, GA, and the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Historic Preservation.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Firm Fixed-Price.
- Estimated Value: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00.
- Period of Performance: Approximately 90 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP), with specific dates noted as June 2, 2026, to September 1, 2026.
- Bonds: 100% Performance and Payment Bonds are required.
- Insurance: Certificate of insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person, $500,000 per occurrence, and $1,000,000 per property.
