This project aims to provide an upgraded circuit feed to support the recent Electronic Health Record Modernization for Buildings 4, 5, and 6 at the Roseburg VAMC Campus in Roseburg, Oregon.

• Assess, inspect, and site verify existing conditions prior to construction.

• Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and construction services.

• Complete construction in accordance with current references and specifications.

• Occupancies:

  • Bldg. 5A – HAS (5 employees)
  • Bldg. 5B – HBPC (10 employees)
  • Bldg. 6A/6B – HUD/VASH/Social Work (25 employees)

• Network Infrastructure:

  • Install two independent Network Fiber Homeruns (OS2 fiber, 24 strand) from Bldg. 1 to Buildings 4, 5, and 6, entering from opposite sides.
  • Install new 26U IT panels in the basement of each building (4, 5, and 6).

• Electrical Panel Replacement:

  • Replace 125 amp panels with 200 amp panels.
  • Utilize Roseburg “Door-in-Door” design for panel covers/doors.
  • Add additional 20-amp circuits throughout the buildings, with the majority on the second floor.
  • Run new circuits through EMT with compression fittings, surface mounted to interior brick walls.
  • Replace 100% of old cloth-wrapped wiring if it does not meet current codes; remove and replace existing outlets.
  • Verify and replace feeder sizes from Transformer “T-8” to 200-amp panels as needed.

• Outlets and Network Ports:

  • Replace 100% of existing Electrical Outlets and install new outlets.
  • Replace 100% of existing Network ports and install new Network ports.

• Lighting:

  • Remove 100% fluorescent lighting and replace with LED.
  • All lights will receive 100% new wiring.

• Access Control & Security:

  • Install PAC ID readers and Access Controls on all doors entering the buildings.
  • Install Security Cameras at 100% of all exit/entry points (consult with Upgrade Campus Security project 653-16-100).

• Work to be performed in unoccupied spaces at an IRCA Level 2.
