This is NOT a solicitation but aims to gather information to determine the appropriate acquisition method as the CMOP relocates and its lease expires. Responses are due by April 6, 2026.
Scope of Work
The project involves comprehensive demolition, disassembly, relocation, and staging for disposal of various items. Key tasks include:

This also covers electrical and pneumatic lines, CAT V/coaxial cables, security cameras, IT cabinets, and fiber optic cables.
- Building Item Demolition: Removal of interior and exterior fencing, interior cages, modular walls, interior bollards, safety railing, stairs, exterior smoke sheds, ductwork, and specific lighting. All floors must be left clean, bare, and swept, with floor bolts cut flush.
- Furnishings & Miscellaneous: Removal of office furniture, file cabinets, workstations, refrigerators, freezers, air compressors, tanks, dryers, forklifts, and charging stations.
- Decommissioned Equipment Handling: Inventorying, palletizing, and stretch-wrapping decommissioned equipment for potential resale or relocation, requiring careful disassembly and packaging of electrical and electronic components to maintain integrity.
- Off-site Storage: The contractor must provide a temperature-controlled, alarmed, and secure off-site storage facility (5,000-10,000 sq ft) within 15 minutes of the Shawnee CMOP, available for a month-to-month lease up to one year.
- General Responsibilities: The contractor is responsible for obtaining all permits, paying fees (including disposal), site cleanliness, trash disposal, and sanitation. A safety plan is required.
