The selected Design-Build team will provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary for the design and construction phases. Key deliverables include:

  • Replacement of all components of the Delta Controls building automation system.
  • Integration of new DDC controls with the existing Distech Tridium Niagara server.
  • Demolition, general construction, alterations, mechanical, and electrical work.
  • Specific component replacements across hot water, chilled water, steam heat exchangers, various AHUs, VAV boxes, and approximately 500 pneumatic steam valves with DDC electronic steam valves.
  • Ensuring Bacnet/IP communication buss installation and operation.
  • Compliance with VA Design Guides, VA policy/standards, EPA requirements, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintaining heating and cooling for the building throughout the project.
