This solicitation is for the Dialysis Renovation project at the Northport VA Medical Center, Building 200, third floor. The project involves approximately 5,330 square feet of renovation, including abatement, demolition, general construction, alterations, equipment, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and fire alarm work. The contract duration is 548 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

• Renovation of existing space including abatement of hazardous materials and demolition of existing utilities and architectural features.

• Installation of new electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

• Coordination and scheduling of work during specified duty hours (8 AM - 4:30 PM EST, unless otherwise approved).

• Compliance with VA Specifications, Federal, State, and Local codes.

• Use of the VISN 2 Autodesk Build Construction management platform (ACC) for all project correspondence and submissions.

• Contractor personnel do not require access to VA systems and the contract does not involve VA sensitive information.

• Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price.

• Period of Performance: 548 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.

• Magnitude of Construction: Between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.

• Set-Aside: 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside.

• Bid opening will be held online via Microsoft Teams on January 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM EST.

• Offers must be accepted by the Government within 90 calendar days after the bid due date.

• Award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder whose bid is most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors.

• A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for December 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM EST. Meeting at Northport VAMC building 200 main lobby. No other site visits will be allowed.

• Questions must be submitted in writing to lester.griffith@va.gov no later than January 06, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST.

• This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside procurement.

• Contractors must be registered in SAM.gov and verified/visible/certified as SDVOSB in the Small Business Search at the time of bid submission and before award.

• Offerors must submit their annual Vets4212 Report.

• Bid guarantee is required (20% of bid price or $3,000,000.00, whichever is less).
