• Interstitial Space Weight Limit: The interstitial floor is designed for 25 psf. This is within the general limits of 40 psf for patient rooms and 100 psf for corridors.
• Construction Elevators: Contractors shall use elevators S-5 and S-6 (C-wing staff elevators). There is one service elevator with an elevated ceiling cut-out for longer items.

• On-Site Supervision: The on-site superintendent cannot also serve as the Safety, Health, and Environmental Officer (S.S.H.O) and Quality Control (QC).
• Fire/Smoke Sealing: All new plumbing work requires fire and/or smoke sealing. Existing pipe that is not being changed can remain as-is. Existing pipe that is removed and reinstalled must comply. Existing penetrations that are not sealed can remain.
• Hangers and Supports: New hangers supported from the floor above will be provided for existing piping per specification 220511. Existing hangers need replacement, and all worked-on pipe must comply with the design intent.
• Work Schedule: A 4-day, 10-hour per day shift schedule is acceptable, provided all work occurs outside of normal business hours (6:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Night, weekend, and holiday work should be anticipated.
