Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, supervision, and safety measures to replace and install Wi-Fi infrastructure across three buildings:
- Building 1: Replace 10 access points, 2 consoles, 4 switches, 1 server, and 1 firewall on the first floor; 4 access points on the second floor (remove 1); install 1 directional Wi-Fi antenna and associated wiring/router on the third floor; replace 11 access points and 1 switch on the fourth floor. CAT6A cabling will be added.
- Building 2: Install 1 Wi-Fi repeater, 1 Wi-Fi router, and 3 access points with associated wiring.
- Building 8: Install 2 new access points, 1 switch, 1 omnidirectional antenna, 1 Wi-Fi router, and racking for the switch. Work in Building 8 must be performed during off-hours (5:00 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday-Friday).
- Equipment: Specific Ruckus R650 access points, ICX 7150 switches, 1000BASE-SX SFP transceivers, and CAT6A cabling are specified, or approved equivalents.
- Additional Requirements: Site-specific safety plan, construction schedule, submittals, and a list of all usernames/passwords created during installation are required. Replaced equipment must be returned to VANIHCS Engineering.
