Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) for Painting Services for the Inpatient Ward at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System in New Orleans, LA. The government requires touch-ups and minor wall repairs. The solicitation is issued under FAR Part 12 and 13.5.

• Surface preparation, minor wall repairs, and painting (including full-wall touch-ups where any touch-up is needed).

• Removal and reinstallation of framed artwork or decorative items (not TV monitors or medical equipment).

• Protection of adjacent finishes from paint splatter.

• Work to be performed on sheetrock (gypsum board) walls and metal framing components (including metal door frames).

• Estimated labor: up to 80 hours.

• Painters must have a minimum of five years of professional painting experience, including healthcare environments. All onsite personnel must have completed OSHA 10-hour construction safety training.

• Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price.

• Period of Performance: Approximately 40 calendar days after award. POP Base: 07-01-2026 to 08-10-2026.
