Quick Summary
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contract Office 8, has issued a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for repainting curbs, crosswalks, and roadway markings at the Thomas H. Corey VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL. This project aims to enhance safety by improving the visibility of walking surfaces and addressing issues that have led to Veteran falls. This opportunity is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Proposals are due March 26, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time.
Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to repaint existing curbs, crosswalks, and roadway markings on the campus. This includes standard stalls, ADA stalls, stencils, directional arrows, stop bars, and pavement messages. All striping must use one coat of standard Acrylic Water-based traffic marking paint, following existing layouts. Work must comply with NFPA, OSHA, and VA standards. A safety plan is required, and work must be performed during nights, weekends, and off-peak hours to minimize disruption, while maintaining continuous emergency vehicle access. Work areas must be clearly delineated and secured. Materials and workmanship are subject to a one-year warranty from final completion.
