Scope of Work

The contractor will be responsible for:

  • Performing diagnostic inspection and isolation of failed inverter systems.
  • Salvaging usable internal components from one Satcon 500 KW inverter (TB) to repair a second Satcon 500 KW inverter (TD).
  • Rebuilding and repairing inverter TD, including electrical components, cooling fan motors, and power supply.
  • Decommissioning the non-repairable inverter TB.
  • Installing replacement capacity using SMA Sunny Tripower CORE1 (or similar) string inverters to restore approximately 500 kW generation capacity.
  • Performing electrical integration, system testing, commissioning, and restoring monitoring.
  • Documenting all repairs, testing results, and commissioning.
  • Providing own ladders/lifts for access.
  • Ensuring new solar inverters are California State Certified.
