Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services to repair and replace solar inverters at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. The project aims to restore approximately 1 MW of lost solar generation capacity.

• Perform diagnostic inspection and isolation of failed inverter systems.

• Salvage usable components from one Satcon 500 KW inverter (TB) for repair of a second Satcon 500 KW inverter (TD).

• Rebuild and repair inverter TD.

• Decommission the non-repairable inverter TB.

• Install replacement inverter capacity using SMA Sunny Tripower CORE1 (or similar) string inverters.

• Perform electrical integration, system testing, commissioning, and restore monitoring.

• Document all repairs, testing, and commissioning.

• Contractor must provide ladders/lifts for access.

• New solar inverters must be California State Certified.
