Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This document outlines the requirements for installing alternate connections for steam and chilled water at the VAMC Cape Coral facility. The project involves general construction, alterations, demolition, and removal of existing structures.

• General Construction: Includes alterations, roads, walks, grading, and necessary demolition and removal of existing structures.

• Site Preparation: Complete preparation of the site for building operations.

• Utilities: Existing utility services must be maintained. Any interruption requires prior COR approval with advance written notice (7 days for minor, 15 days for major interruptions).

• Phasing: Work must be scheduled and coordinated with the COR to ensure uninterrupted Medical Center operations (24/7).

• Protection: Existing structures, vegetation, equipment, and utilities must be protected from damage. The contractor is responsible for repairs to any damaged items.

• Disposal: Materials from demolition are to be disposed of as specified; reserved items remain Government property.

• Warranties: A Warranty Management Plan is required, detailing roles, responsibilities, and procedures for all warranties. A 4-month and 9-month warranty inspection will be conducted.

• Bonds: Performance and Payment Bonds must remain effective throughout the construction period.

• Manuals & Training: Maintenance and Operating manuals and training for VA personnel are required for all equipment.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ
