• Material Storage Payments: Progress payments for materials stored on-site or off-site are at the Contracting Officer's discretion and handled case-by-case.
• Design Team Participation: Members of the design team are not permitted to be part of the construction team.
• SDVOSB Set-Aside: The project is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). The prime contractor must be certified as such.

• Badging: Badging and PIV requirements are not required for contractors working less than 6 months, and this project duration is 95 calendar days.
• Contract Type & Escalation: The contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). Economic Price Adjustment for labor and material is not included, and any escalation must be factored into the FFP.
• Drawings: The List of Drawing Sheets in Spec 00 01 15 has been updated to reflect the drawings to be utilized.
• Telecommunications Rooms: Rooms in Buildings 402 & 407 are fully equipped with racks, cooling, power, grounding, and fire suppression.
• Fiber Optic Cable: No fiber pulls are required; only terminations in B407 3rd Floor using OS2 LC single mode fiber.
• Demo Existing Cables: Full cable removal back to origin is required; abandonment in place is not an option.
• Patient Care Areas: HEPA carts are required for cable pulls through high patient risk areas in buildings 400, 402, 403, 406, and 407.
• GFE: No Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) applies to this project for the GC.
• Off-Hours Work: Allowed with advance written notification (preferably 2 weeks).
• Price Range: The estimated magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
