Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) Outpatient Surgery Department requires construction services to reconfigure existing administrative spaces into standardized general-purpose exam rooms to meet the growing demand for veteran patient care. The current administrative spaces lack adequate plumbing and exam lighting.

This SOW details construction management services for:

• Installation of six (6) new lavatories.
• Relocation of two (2) existing lavatories.
• Mounting of seven (7) exam lights in seven rooms.
• Reconfiguration of one large exam room into two smaller exam rooms.

Key tasks include installation of ICRA barriers, cutting for lavatories, piping, electrical connections for fixtures and lights, erecting dividing walls, installing new doors, fire alarm speakers, and return-air registers. Work will occur within an active clinic and will be staged to minimize disruption.

• Work must comply with VA ICRA Level 2 requirements for phases 1-3, with a 1-week completion limit for these phases.

• Work outside normal duty hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) must be coordinated with the COR at least 2 weeks in advance.

• Work is to be performed between 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM and on weekends as necessary.

• The Period of Performance is seventy-five (75) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

• Each construction phase (except Phase IV) must be completed within one (1) week.
