Questions & Answers / Clarifications

This document contains responses to pre-bid Requests for Information (RFIs) for the "Renovate Catholic Chapel B119" project.

• Substitution Requests: For BABAA compliant locksets, refer to spec section 08 71 00-10 and match the existing key system. No formal substitution request form was provided.
• Wages: Davis Bacon or Prevailing wages are required, as wage determination was posted with the solicitation.

• Hydrostatic Testing: Hydrostatic testing is sufficient for pipe welds; X-ray is not required for plumbing piping welds. Contractor must verify water availability and confirm discharge points for testing water.
• Fiber Optic: Coordination with the EHRM project is required for fiber handling and terminations. Preferred manufacturers for electrical panels are Square D, Siemens, or Cutler-Hammer.
• Lead Paint: Contractor is required to coordinate scope of abatement work with the Lead-Containing Paint Sampling report (Terracon).
