Quick Summary
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is issuing a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (RFQ) for the sole source acquisition of 1-Man Troop Seats (Part Number: 975-1J, NSN: 1680-01-HS1-0128) for MH-60T helicopters. This is an unrestricted requirement, with quotations due by January 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time.
Purpose & Scope
The USCG intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for fifteen (15) 1-Man Troop Seats, with an option for up to forty (40) additional units within 365 days of award. This requirement is justified as a sole source acquisition from Oro Manufacturing Company (Cage Code 76912), the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), due to their exclusive ownership of technical data, complex manufacturing processes, and the item's approval for the MH-60T helicopter. The Government does not possess the technical data, and it is uneconomical to acquire.
