Source Approval Requirements
New sources must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Non-approved sources must submit detailed information as outlined in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures (links provided in the description for Spares and Repair). Failure to provide required data or document previous submission will result in offers not being considered. The time required for new source approval may preclude award if it delays meeting Government requirements.
