Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the manufacture and quality assurance of AN/BRA-24 Antenna Seal Assemblies. Key requirements include:

- Procuring specific urethane elastomer and curative from LANXESS Urethane Systems.
- Permanent marking of assemblies and components per MIL-STD-130 and Drawing RE-C49502.
- Ensuring all materials are mercury-free for submarine/surface ship application.
- Adhering to MIL-STD 2073 for preservation, packaging, packing, and marking.
Quality Assurance & Testing
A robust quality inspection system is required, compliant with MIL-I-45208 or ISO 9001 and NCSL Z540.3 or ISO 10012. Key quality requirements include:
- First Article Testing/Inspection: Required with Government approval of procedures (DI-NDTI-80603) and reports (DI-NDTI-80809B) before production. Supplier must notify NSWCPD two weeks prior to testing.
- Production Lot Testing/Inspection: Includes 100% visual/dimensional inspection and acceptance testing per drawing RE-C49502. Production lot reports (DI-NDTI-80809B) with Objective Quality Evidence Data (OQEDs) are required for Government approval before shipment.
