This solicitation is for the purchase of one new 2026 60-Ton Extendable Deck Transport Trailer by the Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Albuquerque Area Office, Socorro Field Division. The trailer is needed to transport heavy machinery, construction equipment, and oversized loads, enhancing efficiency in ongoing and future projects.

• Trailer Specifications:

  • 4-Axle Configuration: Three (3) dead axles and one (1) drop-down (air lift) axle.
  • Deck Specifications:
    • Lower main deck length: 20 feet; Width: 8.5 feet.
    • Extendable deck: Up to an additional 10 feet, for a maximum total length of 30 feet.
    • Extension capability: Must allow adjustment in 2-foot increments, pneumatically lockable.
    • Drivable surface: Must allow heavy equipment (tracked and wheeled) to drive over the extended portion to access the rear deck.
    • Features: Boom and bucket/knuckle trough on the lower main deck, chain and binder rack, dual load-bearing toolboxes.
    • Decking: Must meet or exceed all applicable DOT compliance.
  • Rear Deck:
    • Boom trough for securing equipment booms to comply with height restrictions.

    • Tires covered with load-withstanding decking.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items to procure one 60-ton transport trailer. The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Albuquerque Area Office, Socorro Field Division has a requirement for this trailer.

• One 60-ton transport trailer.

• Technical capability narrative addressing specifications (Attachment 1).

• Pricing for each line item on the Price Schedule (Attachment 2).

• Delivery and setup of the equipment.

• The Government intends to award a single firm fixed-price purchase order.

• Delivery shall be FOB to the Socorro Field Division, Bureau of Reclamation, 2401 State Road One, Socorro, NM 87801.

• Delivery hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM MDT, excluding federal holidays.

• Quotes are due by March 16, 2026, 1:00 PM MDT.
