Quick Summary
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), specifically the C.W. Bill Young Veterans Medical Center EMS Grounds, is conducting a Sources Sought to identify qualified small businesses capable of providing a TL-2 Lightning Loader Grapple Truck (Brand Name or Equal). This market research aims to determine potential set-aside opportunities for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), or Small Businesses (SB). Responses are due by February 19, 2026, at 14:00 Eastern Time.
Purpose & Context
This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. The VA seeks to gather information from qualified small businesses to assess the market's ability to supply a grapple truck. The truck is needed to efficiently clear downed trees and limbs after severe weather events, improve debris removal timeliness, and assist with regular tasks like clearing conservancy paths. This equipment will enhance the medical center's ability to respond to emergencies, as past cleanup efforts were delayed due to a lack of such equipment.
