The truck will also be used for regular tree trimming and clearing paths in conservancy areas. Past hurricane cleanup efforts were delayed due to the lack of such equipment, necessitating emergency procurements.

However, in accordance with VAAR 852.219-73 and 852.219-76, evaluation credit will be assigned for Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) prime contractors registered in the VIP database. Offerors claiming SDVOSB status must be certified and listed in the SBA certification database.
