Quick Summary

The Department of the Navy, through the COMMANDING OFFICER, is soliciting proposals for Crane Services (Solicitation #26-SIMACQ-E20-0005) at the Surface Combat Systems Training Center (SCSTC) Mayport, Jacksonville, FL. This Total Small Business Set-Aside opportunity requires crane operations and personnel to support the installation of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Surface Warfare (SUW) Mission Module (MM) Training, specifically the Part Task Trainer Surface-to-Surface Missile Module (SSMM). Proposals are due March 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time.

Scope of Work

Contractors will provide crane services, including mobilization and demobilization, with a dedicated rigging team (minimum 1 Crane Operator, 1 Rigging Personnel, 1 Signal Personnel). The work involves multiple lifts inside the high bay of Building 2527, including:

  • Foundation lift (max 4,000 lbs, 50-degree sling angle).
  • Hatch and Cover assemblies lift (max 2,000 lbs per lift, 4,000 lbs assembled, 37-degree sling angle, minimum hook height 195").
  • Missile Exhaust Containment Structure lift (max 2,200 lbs).
  • Additional lifts of smaller equipment (under 700 lbs). The crane must fit within a 240-inch (20-foot) height restriction and operate entirely inside the building.
